A man’s handwritten note has gone viral after Emma Chow, a radio host in Sydney, spotted the word “gutless” written on his hand.

Emma recorded a video of the man on her TikTok account, which showed the note as the man raised his hand to scratch his back.

The note read, “-send break up email-“.

Emma jokingly asked if it was the “most gutless way to break up with someone” and added: “Note to self: don’t forget to send that break-up email!”

However, some viewers suggested the note may have another meaning, such as a sales term.

One TikToker also pointed out a broken heart drawing above the text, and commented, “Email? Not even a call or a text? That’s cold.”

Criticism of the Note

Emma criticized the man’s note, saying that breaking up with someone by email was “gutless.”

She also expressed sympathy for the woman who was going to receive the email, stating that it would be “embarrassing” and “poor girl” would not expect it.

Emma suggested that breaking up with someone via email or text was cowardly and that people should have the decency to tell their partner in person or over the phone.
