Michelle Murphy Lancaster, whose child had participated in the concert, shared the video on Facebook and explained what she saw.

According to Lancaster, one of the men involved wore a shirt with his name on it—he’s reportedly a local insurance agent.
She also noted that his daughter tried to step in and stop the fight.
Another concerned woman reportedly called 911 while Lancaster recorded.
“There were SO many kids there—very scary situation,” she wrote.
School Officials Respond to the Incident
The Canyon Independent School District, responsible for organizing the concert, was quick to release a statement condemning the behavior of the adults involved.
“School events are meant to celebrate student learning and achievement,” the statement read.
“We expect all guests to model respectful behavior and uphold the event’s decorum.”
They also emphasized that student safety is their top concern and assured the public that appropriate action had been taken, although they didn’t go into detail.
