And for David’s big 5-0, she wasn’t about to keep things lowkey.
Instead, she turned the occasion into a luxurious four-day celebration packed with travel, fine wine, and family memories – though one very notable family member was missing.
Jetting Off in Style to David’s Favourite French Vineyard
To make sure her husband was spoiled with his favourite things, Victoria chartered a private jet to whisk him and three of their four kids – Romeo, Cruz and Harper – from Luton to Bordeaux.
The main stop? Petrus, the vineyard David adores most.
Nestled in Pomerol, near the famous Saint-Émilion border, the estate is known for producing top-tier Merlot – and it’s not just any red.
We’re talking Petrus: a wine that can cost up to £6,000 a bottle depending on the vintage. It’s also a favourite of A-listers and collectors alike.
Victoria shared glimpses of the trip on Instagram, including sweet snaps of the two of them grinning over a bottle of Petrus, soaking in the sun and the scenery.
A Wine Lover’s Dream Birthday
It’s no secret David’s a bit of a wine connoisseur, and he wasn’t about to leave empty-handed.
After their lunch at Petrus, the crew headed straight to Paris for a birthday dinner, and David was seen proudly carrying a bottle of Chateau Petrus 1961 – reportedly worth around £3,000.
The evening continued with dinner at L’Ami Louis, a favourite Parisian spot of David’s, followed by a stay at the five-star La Réserve hotel.
Also joining the festivities were Romeo and Cruz’s girlfriends, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel.
But Where Was Brooklyn?
While the rest of the Beckham clan was present and clearly enjoying the festivities, the absence of David and Victoria’s eldest son, Brooklyn, raised eyebrows.
According to reports, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz chose to skip all the birthday events – from the French getaway to the countryside family dinner and the glamorous London gathering.
The couple were invited to everything, but decided not to attend, reportedly leaving David and Victoria quietly heartbroken.

Alongside the sweet photos, she reflected on a week of “special memories with family and friends.”
Yet, fans quickly noticed that Brooklyn wasn’t tagged or mentioned – a rare omission, especially since Victoria typically writes something like “missing you @brooklynbeckham” when he’s absent.
David also reposted many of the photos, thanking everyone who made his birthday unforgettable – but noticeably skipped over any mention of Brooklyn as well.
A Classy Start to the Celebrations in the Cotswolds
Before the jet-setting began, the Beckhams kicked things off with an intimate dinner at their countryside estate in the Cotswolds.
On Wednesday evening, close family and partners gathered for a cozy but elegant evening.
Photos show the family dressed to the nines. David wore a sleek black tuxedo, while Victoria stunned in a silky navy slip dress from her own fashion line.
In one charming photo, the couple posed atop the bonnet of a vintage 1972 Fiat 500 – possibly an early birthday gift, given David’s past love for cruising around Italy in the same model with his sons.

Romeo, Cruz, and Harper were all present and accounted for, and Victoria made sure to tag each of them in her posts.
But Brooklyn remained notably untagged and unmentioned.
