Vice-President Osinbajo presides over cabinet meeting

Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof.

Yemi Osinbajo is presiding over the week’s virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council, which began at 10.

00 am Nigerian time on Wednesday morning.

Osinbajo chairs the meeting in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari who is in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the 5th Edition of Future Initiative Summit.

Ministers physically present at the commencement of the meeting were those of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; and Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.

Other ministers were those of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Aviation, Hadi Sirika; and Power, Abubakar Aliyu.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Prof.

Ibrahim Gambari and Deputy Chief of Staff, Ade Ipaye were also at the meeting.
