A Hyundai SUV missing its windscreen, bonnet, and back window was spotted on Melbourne’s streets.
An unroadworthy vehicle caught the attention of police patrolling Sunshine North in Melbourne’s west on Saturday afternoon.
The late model 2022 Hyundai Palisade was missing essential parts, exposing the engine as it drove past.
Officers stopped the car and spoke with the 41-year-old female driver from Brighton. She had already been fined and issued a defect notice just three days prior, with a warning that the vehicle was unsafe and not to be driven.
Ignoring the warning, the woman was slapped with another $740 fine for breaching a major defect notice and lost three demerit points.
