A striking video has recently emerged online showing what appears to be a Ukrainian drone being intercepted and shot down in the skies near Moscow.

The footage captures a sudden plume of smoke followed by a loud explosion, drawing an emotional reaction from the person filming.

The incident took place above the town of Vidnoye, located just a few kilometers south of Moscow.

Although official details are scarce, unofficial sources suggest this drone might be a heavy kamikaze-style UAV called the Lyutyi.

This model is known for its gasoline engine delivering roughly 50 horsepower, pushing a propeller at the back.

It can carry a sizable warhead, weighing between 50 to 75 kilograms, and can travel up to 1,000 kilometers — quite a powerful piece of equipment.

Moscow’s Response to Drone Activity

Earlier reports from Moscow’s Mayor Sergey Sobyanin confirmed that three Ukrainian drones were destroyed while heading toward the capital.

While he didn’t reveal exactly where the debris landed or if any damage occurred on the ground, he assured that emergency services were promptly attending to the situation.
