UK Police Seek Help To Solve 20 years old Nigerian Boy’s Murder Mystery.
British Police are soliciting help to solve a murder case of a Nigerian boy whose torso was found in the River Thames 20 years ago. The boy was aged five or six when his remains were found floating near Tower Bridge.
The boy’s head and limbs had been severed already as Police believe it may have been a ritualistic killing.
Although, the identity of the boy remains unknown but Police have named him “Adam”, saying forensic tests indicate that he was from Nigeria. The authorities believe he was trafficked from Nigeria to Britain, possibly via Germany.
“It is incredibly sad and frustrating that Adam’s murder remains unsolved,” said Kate Kieran, a homicide detective at the Metropolitan Police.
Kieran stated that people who knew something about the killing may not have wanted to speak up at the time and may have felt loyal to the killer or killers, but allegiances and relationships may have changed.
“We implore them to be bold and come forward if they know something so that we can finally deliver justice,” said Kieran.
Many persons with high-profile including Nelson Mandela, have made appeals over the years concerning the case.
Also, British detectives have made inquiries in Britain, South Africa, Holland, Germany and Nigeria.
