Tyson Fury’s recent trip to celebrate his third wedding to wife Paris took an unexpected turn when their private jet faced a frightening technical problem mid-flight.
The boxing legend, 37, described the experience as “terrifying” after the aircraft had to make an emergency return.
Fury and his family had just enjoyed a quiet, intimate ceremony in the south of France—17 years after their first wedding—marking a joyful moment that quickly became stressful in the skies.
The Emergency Landing
The trouble began on their journey back to the UK. Fury shared the ordeal with his fans on Instagram, giving a candid account from the plane.
“So, we’ve travelled 100 miles on the plane,” he said in a video captioned “bad news.”
He explained that the captain had informed him of a wing issue that the onboard systems couldn’t fix, forcing the plane to turn back.
“Talk about totally s****ing yourself,” Fury admitted, letting out a nervous laugh.
“So we’re now spinning the plane around and going back to the airport where we started. Terrifying.”
In other clips, the family could be seen aboard the luxurious jet, though Fury didn’t provide further updates about the landing.
A Third Wedding Celebration
This latest ceremony in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur was a private family affair, attended only by their children: Prince John James, 13, Prince Tyson II, eight, Valencia, seven, Prince Adonis Amaziah, six, Athena, three, Prince Rico, 22 months, and their eldest, Venezuela, 15.
Tyson shared snapshots of the day with his 6.7 million Instagram followers, writing: “Paris & I got married again—third time lucky.
We had the most beautiful day in the south of France.
It holds a lot of special memories for us.” The post featured the Bruno Mars hit Marry You.
For the ceremony, Fury wore a cream shirt, white shorts, and sandals, while Paris opted for a simple white dress.
The couple had previously married in 2008 in Doncaster and renewed their vows in 2013 in New York City.
Private Vows Over a Big Wedding
Paris had previously told OK! magazine she wanted their latest ceremony to remain intimate: “I don’t want a big ceremony or a big wedding, I’d like something private with just me and him. It’ll be nice to reaffirm our vows.
If he had his way he’d have it like a circus – a whole Big Fat Gypsy Wedding again! But I think I’ll go subtle.”
Fury’s Boxing Future
While Tyson Fury remains officially retired after his second loss to Oleksandr Usyk and his shocking announcement in January, speculation about a potential comeback continues.
Promoter Frank Warren confirmed last month that Fury has expressed interest in fighting Usyk again.
Even as he enjoys these personal milestones, fans can’t help but wonder if the Gypsy King will step back into the ring anytime soon.
