Tyrese Gibson Faces Arrest in Atlanta After Neighbor’s Dog Is Killed by His Cane Corso Dogs

The Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson is now the focus of a police investigation in Atlanta, Georgia, after a neighbor’s dog was tragically killed.

Authorities have issued a warrant for the 46-year-old actor, who is also known for his singing career, in connection with an alleged animal cruelty incident involving one of his Cane Corso dogs.

The Incident That Sparked the Investigation

According to Fulton County Police Animal Services, Gibson’s Cane Corsos were reportedly allowed to roam freely around his neighborhood.

This lack of control is believed to have led to one of the dogs attacking Harrison Parker’s five-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Henry.

Parker had let Henry out in his yard, protected by an invisible fence, only to return minutes later and find his pet dead with puncture wounds consistent with an animal attack.

Police Details and Evidence

Captain Nicole Dwyer explained that the case points to “negligence on his part as the homeowner and animal owner, just letting them roam free. And now they have killed an innocent animal.”

Security footage reportedly shows Gibson’s Cane Corsos scratching at a door across the street shortly before the fatal attack.

The department also noted that there had been at least five other reports of Gibson’s dogs running loose in the week leading up to Henry’s death.

Gibson’s Response and Whereabouts

Gibson is believed to be in Dubai on a “mental health break” expected to last until November.

Over the weekend, he posted an Instagram reel showing himself at a mansion overlooking the ocean with the caption: “My well-need mental health recovery begins now! I’ll be gone till November.

Peace.” He also shared a photo with a large group, describing the gathering as “literally perfection.”

Legal Actions and Warrant Issued

On September 22, Gibson reportedly agreed to surrender his dogs to Animal Services.

However, when officials arrived to collect them, he requested an extra “three or four days to decide.”

Authorities warned that a search warrant would be issued if he did not comply.

After he refused, the department obtained a warrant to search his property as well as an arrest warrant for cruelty to animals.

When police arrived, Gibson was not home and the dogs had already been moved.

The Community Reaction

The incident has sparked concern among neighbors and animal lovers in Atlanta, highlighting ongoing issues around pet safety and owner responsibility.

Authorities continue to urge Gibson to comply with the warrant and cooperate with investigators to resolve the case.
