Welsh TV presenter Alex Jones has announced that she will appear on ITV game show Catchphrase with Stephen Mulhern later in the year.

The 46-year-old host of The One Show has shared a photo of herself at the iconic Catchphrase podium, stating that she has fulfilled a “lifetime ambition” but has admitted that it’s “MUCH harder than it looks on telly!”

The revival of Catchphrase has been running since 2013 and is based on the original series that ran on ITV from 1986 to 2004.

Alex will go head to head with Kaiser Chiefs singer Ricky Wilson and Strictly Come Dancing’s Tyler West.

Alex’s Recent TV Appearances

Alex’s appearance on Catchphrase follows several other TV appearances this year, including recently hosting BBC’s Reunion Hotel.

Upon revealing the news, she received several messages of support from fans.

Many expressed their excitement, with one person stating, “Amazing can’t wait to watch!”

While it may have been a tough challenge for Alex, she had lots of fun with her fellow guests Rick and Tyler.
