Mamelodi Sundowns are looking to make PSL history, but they will play a TS Galaxy team with similar aspirations.
Coach Rhulani should maintain the box-shaped 4-2-2-2 system that allows him to accommodate a large number of attack-minded midfielders, such as Neo Maema, who has scored the game-winning goal in each of Sundowns’ last two PSL matches. He accomplished this most recently against Kaizer Chiefs.
However, do not dismiss TS Galaxy just yet. They intend to accomplish the inconceivable. Since Polokwane City in 2017-18, no team has completed the double-over Sundowns.
The Brazilians’ victory over Chiefs was their 12th consecutive victory in the premier division, breaking their own record for consecutive victories in the PSL era. Now they’re aiming for number thirteen. Can TS Galaxy stop the Mamelodi Sundowns express train, or will Rhulani’s men continue their march to the championship with another victory?
Tuesday’s contest will begin at 19:30.
Sundowns’ manager Rhulani desires a victory versus TS Galaxy.
