Travis Kelce arrives in a Rolls Royce at Chiefs red carpet premiere in Kansas City while Taylor Swift skips the event

Kansas City rolled out the red carpet on Sunday night to celebrate the premiere of The Kingdom, ESPN’s brand-new six-part docuseries following the Kansas City Chiefs.

Players, coaches, and family members turned out in style for the big event.

But while fans expected a certain pop superstar to make an appearance, Taylor Swift was noticeably absent from the celebrations.

Travis Kelce Arrives in Style

Travis Kelce, one of the central figures of the series, made a grand entrance as one of the last stars to arrive.

Pulling up in his $400,000 Rolls Royce Phantom, the tight end stepped out, suit jacket in hand, before handing off his keys to a concierge

. Fans cheered his arrival, though many couldn’t help but feel a tinge of disappointment that Swift wasn’t by his side.

Family First on the Red Carpet

Instead of his globally famous girlfriend, Kelce was joined by his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, who proudly attended the event.

He also posed with teammates, team owner Tavia Hunt, and Tammy Reid, the wife of head coach Andy Reid.

The evening was as much about family as it was about football, highlighting the strong support system behind the Chiefs’ biggest stars.

Andy Reid Shares Kind Words About Swift

Coach Andy Reid, who is never shy about complimenting his players, went out of his way to praise Swift during a red carpet interview.

Just moments before Kelce playfully interrupted his chat, Reid had nothing but admiration for the singer.
“She’s a good girl, first of all,” Reid said.

“She might be the most famous lady in the world right now since the Queen has passed away. What a phenomenal person she is. She’s a great leader herself.”

Kelce’s Dad Says Taylor Is the Key to His Happiness

Kelce’s father, Ed, echoed those warm sentiments, making it clear just how much Taylor means to the family.

When asked about his son’s joy, Ed didn’t hesitate: “Taylor, without a doubt.”
He went on to add, “He’s enjoying it, she’s very good for him. They are two people who truly deserve each other.”

Big Expectations for the Season Ahead

While Taylor’s absence stole some attention, Ed Kelce also took a moment to spotlight his son’s focus on the upcoming NFL season.

At 35, Travis is entering another year with the Chiefs, and his father believes this could be his strongest season yet.

“I think you’re going to see one of the best seasons Travis has ever had,” Ed said, recalling workouts he witnessed in Boca Raton during the offseason.

“Travis is in incredible shape. He’s ready to go, and I’m excited about that.”
