Travis and Jason Kelce Boost Garage Beer Popularity Among Millennials and Gen Z Drinkers in Kentucky

Travis and Jason Kelce are showing the world that their influence stretches far beyond the football field.

The Kansas City Chiefs stars have turned their attention to the business world, and it’s paying off in a big way.

Their new venture, a beer brand called Garage Beer, has reportedly hit a $200 million valuation just over a year after the brothers became major investors.

From Fans to Full-On Investors

Back in June 2024, the Kelce brothers became the largest investors in Garage Beer, a fast-growing Kentucky-based brand under the Braxton Brewing Corporation.

This marked their first major foray as business partners, and they’ve been hands-on ever since, promoting the brand to their millions of social media followers and helping shape product launches and advertising campaigns.

Rapid Growth and Expanding Reach

According to the Wall Street Journal, Garage Beer is now valued at an astonishing $200 million, just 14 months after the Kelces joined the team.

The brand, which offers a lime-flavored beer alongside a classic light beer, is projected to generate between $60 million and $70 million in revenue this year—up from under $20 million in 2024.

The company is also set to receive backing from Durational Capital Management, a private-equity firm that will help fund marketing efforts and further expansion.

Hands-On Leadership From the Kelces

Garage Beer CEO Andy Sauer praises the Kelce brothers’ involvement.

“It’s pretty emblematic of how they both operate,” Sauer said.

“It’s an always-on relationship. It’s two people with the same vision and belief in beer, jumping into it.”

Jason and Travis have stayed closely involved, even strategizing over phone calls on Labor Day to discuss new directions for the brand.

Millennial and Gen Z Fans Flocking to the Brand

The Kelces’ influence has helped Garage Beer gain a devoted following among millennial and Gen Z legal-age drinkers.

That popularity is expected to spike even further after Travis recently announced his engagement to pop superstar Taylor Swift, a social media moment that racked up nearly 40 million likes and attention from fans around the globe.

Love, Football, and Business in Motion

Travis, who’s currently in Brazil with his Chiefs teammates ahead of their Week 1 NFL matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo, shared his excitement about the engagement.

“I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something, and all the posts, all the excitement that’s been going on,” he told Jason.

“It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with.”

While Taylor Swift isn’t expected to travel to Brazil for the game, fans can anticipate seeing her at Arrowhead Stadium throughout the season, keeping the spotlight on both Kelce’s football career and his growing business ventures.
