Traditional African musician Nduduzo Makhathini to hold three special concerts this weekend

A torch-bearer pianist of traditional African music, Nduduzo Makhathini, and his four-piece band will play three special concerts this weekend at Glenelly Estate, Stellenbosch.

The performances, described as a spiritual journey and rituals, are titled “Singing as a Way of Being in the World”.

The themes of the concerts are, Preparation, Elsewhere, and The Return, and it’s anchored in the African worldview.

Other artists that will share the state with Makhathini include among others, Thandiswa Mazwai, Msaki, and Omagugu Makhathini.
