The male nurse accused of murdering Toya Cordingley in October 2018 will be extradited from India to Australia.
In October 2018, Toyah, 24, was discovered dead on Wangetti Beach in far north Queensland, with her alleged killer, Rajwinder Singh, 38, accused of escaping to India two days later.
In November, after four years of searching, he was tracked down to a village in India and imprisoned.
On Saturday, an Indian court determined that Singh must be extradited to Australia to stand prosecution for Toyah’s death.
