Tommy Fury Calls Out Jake Paul After Earning Victory in Budapest to Maintain His Undefeated Record

After nearly two years away from the sport, Tommy Fury made an explosive return to the ring, keeping his undefeated streak intact.

The 26-year-old boxer, known for his time on Love Island, faced Bosnian fighter Kenan Hanjalic in Budapest.

Despite a challenging fight, Fury came out victorious, maintaining his perfect 11-0 record.

The bout was a scrappy six-round cruiserweight clash, and Fury secured the win with a unanimous points decision, much to the delight of his loyal fans in the MTK Arena.

Victory and a bold challenge

Fury’s post-fight comments were just as intense as his performance.

He wasted no time calling out Jake Paul, a name that’s become synonymous with celebrity boxing.

After dedicating the win to his partner Molly-Mae, Fury turned his attention to Paul, delivering a fiery insult.

“Jake Paul’s a b****, and he’s running scared,” Fury declared, sending a clear message. “Hey, Jake, the hand is fixed now! I fought a guy in here tonight with over 100 amateur fights, who’s tough as nails.

If Jake Paul wants to step inside this ring, I guarantee you next time, I’ll knock him spark out.

I’ve had two years out of the ring, and this is me after two years. I’ll knock that bum out wherever he wants it.”

Reflecting on his journey

This victory marked Fury’s first fight since his win against KSI in October 2023.

His previous match with Jake Paul, a split-decision victory in Saudi Arabia back in February 2023, added fuel to the rivalry.

Since then, Paul has claimed victories over Mike Tyson and MMA fighter Nate Diaz, and is scheduled to fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June.

Fury, who underwent hand surgery last year, has made it clear he’s not interested in facing Paul or KSI again, at least not for the money.

“I’ve made my money out of them,” he told DAZN. “To be honest, I’m not that interested.

I beat them both, and there’s no real motivation. I’m not in boxing to fight them again.”

Personal gratitude and reflection

Amid the post-fight adrenaline, Fury took a moment to reflect on his personal journey and express gratitude.

“I just want to say thank you for this victory to the Lord Savior Jesus Christ, without Him, none of this would be possible,” Fury shared.

“I want to say hello to my beautiful baby girl Bambi at home, and to my sweetheart Molly—she’ll always be mine forever.”

He also dedicated the win to his parents. “The reason I’m here today is my mother and father.

I will love them until the day I die, and I owe them everything.” Fury opened up about the challenges he has faced in the past, including struggles with alcohol and losing his family for a time.

“I’ve been through a lot these last two years. I’ve gone from being low to being on top of the world again.”

A canceled fight and a new chapter

Fury’s return to the ring was initially set to be against UFC fighter Darren Till in January, but the fight was canceled after Till threatened to use “MMA tactics.”

However, with this victory under his belt, Fury is focused on moving forward and continuing his successful boxing career.

His relationship with Molly-Mae, which hit a rough patch in August, has also been restored, as the couple confirmed they’re back together.

Fury’s return to boxing signals that he’s not just back in the game—he’s aiming for bigger challenges, with Jake Paul now firmly in his sights.
