TINUBU SHOCKED As Ambode Reveals Those That Hold The Reign Of Power In 2023

According to the Daily Trust, former Lagos State governor Akinwunmi Ambode has announced that “the youths are coming” as campaigning for the 2023 election begins.
Ambode’s sentiments were mixed after Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), launched his candidacy for the president of Nigeria.
The issue of Tinubu’s age has been raised by some Nigerians as a cause to rule him out as a presidential candidate in 2023.
It was unclear what Ambode was alluding to when he indicated his support for the youth, despite his feud with Tinubu.
In a message on his verified Twitter page, @AkinwunmiAmbode, the former Lagos governor also underlined that power is in the hands of the youth, encouraging them to get permanent voter registration.
n Ambode, who has a rift with Tinubu, stated his preference for the youth, it was unclear what he was referring to.
The former Lagos governor also reaffirmed that power is in the hands of the youth in a post on his verified Twitter profile, @AkinwunmiAmbode, encouraging them to obtain permanent voter cards.
” The youths are on their way. ” They hold the reins of power. Get your PVCs (Permanent Voters Cards) ready. He exclaimed, ” Your future is NOW! ”
Ambode was reportedly ecstatic with the ” overwhelming affirmation” of his services to the development of Lagos State.
” God has been loyal to us despite everything we’ ve been through. ” Thank you for your enthusiastic support for our little efforts to the development of Lagos. Lagos, and indeed Nigeria, can only improve, ” Ambode stated.
The short message was however, regarded as a sharp rejection of the spirit of imposition and godfatherism and a wake up call to the Nigerian youths not to undermine participatory politics.
Political observers viewed the statement by Ambode as not only a motivation but an enormous boost to Independent national Electoral Commission, INEC, advocatory policies and a clarion call for a parting from the old ways of politics characterized by rigging.
According to the Daily Trust, Ambode was refused a second term ticket by the ruling APC after allegedly falling out of favor with Tinubu, paving the way for Babajide Sanwo- Olu to emerge as the party’ s nominee.
However, Ambode has yet to make an announcement regarding his next political move.
His tweet, on the other hand, drew mixed reactions from his followers, with some requesting that he clarify his statements.
