Tidimalo Sehlako Invites Soweto TV Fans to Join Her Yoga and Wellness Event at Fight Club in Rivonia

You might know her as the vibrant face of Just Music on Soweto TV, but Tidimalo Sehlako is showing us there’s much more to her than just showbiz flair.

This weekend, she’s stepping off the screen and onto the mat, inviting fans to join her in something deeply personal—wellness through yoga.

Her Top Tier Sessions with Tidi is happening on May 31st at the Fight Club in Rivonia, and it’s not just about stretching—it’s about real transformation.

Wellness, But Make It Fun

Sehlako is making it clear—this event isn’t about forcing yourself into painful poses or boring routines. “Firstly, it’s about enjoyment,” she says.

“No one should take time out of their day just to be miserable!” Expect an intense, guided workout that pushes you—but only as far as you’re comfortable with.

The two-hour session, kicking off at 10 a.m., promises a mix of challenge and care.

It’s designed to leave attendees feeling both energized and at peace.

And she’s not doing it alone—a doctor will also be present to share wellness tips and answer health-related questions. All of this goodness? R250.

Where It All Began

Before she was a household name, Tidimalo was just a kid glued to MTV Base and flipping through her mom’s stacks of Vogue and Cosmopolitan. “My mom was really into self-care,” she recalls.

“Back then, we didn’t have the words for it, but I saw it in how she lived.”

That early exposure to both celebrity culture and at-home self-care planted the seeds for a life spent in the spotlight—and now, on the yoga mat.

Turning Wellness Into a Business

What started as a personal journey eventually became a career move.

Sehlako has found a way to blend her passion for wellness with her professional life.

“Yoga has helped me monetise wellness,” she explains.

“It’s a service I offer, but also a personal tool to navigate life’s heaviness.”

Being able to teach, share, and earn from something that helps her cope with stress and anxiety is, as she puts it, both empowering and healing.

A Lifelong Devotion to Mind-Body Health

Tidimalo’s wellness journey goes way back. From experimenting with her mom’s homemade sugar scrubs to hitting the gym as a teen, she’s always taken her health seriously.

“I started getting paid for wellness work around 2016, but it’s been part of me forever,” she says.

Yoga, in particular, became a lifeline when she was dealing with depression and anxiety.

What began as a coping mechanism grew into a deeper practice—and eventually, into teaching.

Living in the Spotlight, Practicing in Peace

Since 2014, Sehlako has been no stranger to the public eye.

From competing in Miss SA to landing roles on Generations: The Legacy, and presenting on BET and Soweto TV, she’s constantly on the go.

“With Just Music, it’s like a 9-to-5,” she says of her daily three-hour show.

“But with yoga, I stick to events. It helps me avoid burnout and gives me space to focus on my own growth.”

Want to Start Yoga? Here’s Her Advice

If you’ve been toying with the idea of trying yoga but don’t know where to start, Sehlako’s advice is simple: “Start with something you enjoy.

If it’s not fun, you won’t stick with it—especially when it gets tough.”

And maybe that “something enjoyable” is Top Tier Sessions with Tidi.

Whether you’re curious about wellness or already on your journey, this might just be the boost you need.
