Bayern Munich faces a tough task ahead as they take on Manchester City in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final match.
After being defeated 3-0 at the Etihad in the first leg, the Bundesliga giants will need to make a remarkable comeback, failing which they will be knocked out of the tournament in the last eight for the third season in a row.
The Reverse Scoreline Required
Considering Manchester City’s current form, it is a tough ask, but former Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, could be the man to outfox Pep Guardiola.

In fact, Tuchel got the better of Guardiola three times in little over a month during his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.
The pair engaged in some fascinating chess-like tactical battles in each encounter.
Praise for Tuchel’s Meticulousness
According to former Blues academy star, Xavier Simons, who was handed his first team debut by Tuchel, working under the German coach was incredible.
Simons was full of praise for Tuchel’s meticulousness, stating that the manager goes into great detail to explain everything to his players, making it easy to understand.
He was confident in his approach and improved so many players in the team.
An Incredible Experience
Simons, who recently signed for Hull following a successful loan spell at the Championship club this season, spent seven years in Chelsea’s academy.
He impressed Tuchel enough to land a starting spot in an EFL Cup tie against Brentford, his former club, in December 2021.
For him, it was an incredible experience to work under Tuchel, and he cherishes the opportunity to have learned from him.
Conclusion
As Bayern Munich faces Manchester City in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final, all eyes will be on Tuchel to see if he can outfox Guardiola once again.
If he manages to do so, it could be the turning point for Bayern Munich to make a comeback and progress to the semi-finals of the tournament.
