“Things will get better”- Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler

Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler is adamant that the club’s fortunes will soon change.
Fresh from signing new terms with Chiefs, Frosler is hopeful that he will win his first trophy with the team soon.
Frosler was set to be a free agent at the end of the current DStv Premiership season, with his initial deal with Chiefs set to expire in June this year. There were even rumours that the Gqeberha-born player was assessing his options, with a move to either Germany or the United States of America supposedly on the cards.
Frosler has, however, now put to bed any sort of speculation on his future, by committing to Chiefs, for another three years. Speaking to the club’s website, he has since reacted to his new deal.
“It’s almost exactly three years since I joined the club. It’s been a good three years. I am happy to have renewed my contract and to continue to be part of this big institution (Chiefs),” said Frosler.
Frosler also painted a picture of optimism with regards to the future of Chiefs, especially with the Nedbank Cup on the horizon.
“Things will start getting better and we are hoping to start winning trophies. We’ve got TS Galaxy in the Nedbank Cup, and we have the potential to go all the way. We will take it one game at a time and try and do our best.”  Frosler said.
Frosler then spoke about his mid-season break, which came to an end when the Chiefs squad regathered for training last month.
“I enjoyed the mid- season break and being away from Johannesburg.  A lot of guys needed a break, “It was a nice break for us and we have come back fresh with a good mindset to kickstart the second half of the season. Hopefully, we continue from where we left off and continue to do well for the rest of the season.” Frosler concluded.
Frosler was part of the Chiefs squad that lost the Nedbank Cup final against Galaxy in 2019 and will be looking to put things right for the Amakhosi faithful.
