In the digital age, social media can do more than connect us—it can become a lifeline.

That’s exactly what happened when a young woman from Taytay, Rizal turned to Facebook to plead for help, sharing heartbreaking images and details about the abuse she and her younger sister are allegedly enduring at home.

Brave Sister Speaks Out on Facebook

Eighteen-year-old Jeyrod Bautista took a bold step by publicly naming her stepfather, Joreniel Solilid Solisid, accusing him of physically hurting her and her younger sister on a regular basis.

In a heartfelt post, she included disturbing photos of her little sister lying helplessly on the ground, hoping the images would finally get people to take her seriously.

Abuse Hidden Behind Closed Doors

Jeyrod claims that the abuse has been going on for some time now in their home located in Brgy. Dolores, Taytay, Rizal.

According to her, it’s not just occasional scolding—it’s constant maltreatment.

She alleges that her stepfather frequently hits them and does “other things” to her that she couldn’t even fully detail in the post.

A Mother Who Won’t Believe

What makes this situation even more painful for Jeyrod is that her cries for help at home have been met with disbelief.

Her mother, who works overseas as an OFW, allegedly dismisses her complaints.

“She thinks he’s just disciplining us,” Jeyrod wrote. But Jeyrod insists this is far from simple parenting—it’s abuse.

Plea to the Public and Raffy Tulfo

With nowhere else to turn, Jeyrod is asking the public to help her story reach broadcaster and public service icon Raffy Tulfo.

She hopes that with enough shares, someone from his team will notice and step in.

“Please, we just want to get out of here,” she pleaded in her message.

A Call for Urgent Action

This isn’t just a story—it’s a call for help from a young woman trying to protect herself and her sister.

With her stepfather still living in the same home, and no support from their mother, Jeyrod fears things could get worse. She’s asking for support—not just attention.
