Taylor Swift is in the studio re-recording her first five albums. That’s her retaliation against Scooter Braun who gained the masters of the originals last year when he acquired Swift’s old label, Big Machine Label Group.
The singer was a teen when she wrote and recorded most of that music. She says she’s improving the songs with her more mature vocals. On Good Morning America, she said: “I’m having a [good] time… it’s a really amazing, fun adventure.”
“So far, of the ones I’ve recorded, I think it’s been the most fun doing “Love Story” because the older music, my voice was so teenaged and I sometimes, when I hear my older music and my young teenage voice, it makes me feel like I’m a different singer now. She expressed excitement over the opportunity to “improve upon the song.”
The re-recording kept her too busy to attend the American Music Awards.
