Just as Tammy Abraham begins a new chapter of his football career overseas, he’s had to deal with something no one ever wants to face — a terrifying break-in at his London home.
Thieves Break Into Abraham’s London Property in the Middle of the Night
Tammy Abraham, who recently made the move to Turkish side Beşiktaş, shared unsettling footage on Instagram after discovering that burglars had broken into his home in London.
The incident reportedly happened a few days ago and left the footballer clearly rattled.
In a post to his Instagram story, Abraham called the intruders “a bunch of low lifes” and explained that they had taken some of his valuables.
Thankfully, he confirmed that none of his loved ones were harmed.
“Thank God my family are all OK,” he wrote, adding a plea to the public for help.
“If anyone knows or heard any info, please let me know. I will find out soon.”
Security Camera Footage Shows Masked Intruders in the Garden
The footage, which Abraham shared publicly, appeared to show three masked individuals moving stealthily through his garden.
At one point, two of them are seen dragging what looked like a large white object away from the property.
Abraham indicated that he was alerted to the break-in thanks to a mobile security app, which pinged him just after 3 a.m. BST with a warning that people had been detected inside the premises.
Importantly, he clarified that the burglary occurred in London, not in Turkey where he now plays.
A Fresh Start at Beşiktaş After Years in Serie A
The former Chelsea striker is currently adjusting to life in Turkey after completing a season-long loan switch to Beşiktaş from AS Roma earlier this month.
If certain conditions are met, the move could become permanent.
Prior to that, Abraham had spent the last campaign with AC Milan, also on loan, where he scored 10 goals as the club wrapped up their season in eighth place.
From Chelsea to Italy and Now Turkey
Tammy Abraham’s professional journey began at Chelsea, where he made 82 appearances and scored 30 goals.
He also enjoyed productive loan spells at Bristol City, Swansea City, and Aston Villa before making a £34 million switch to Roma in 2021.
During his time at Roma, Abraham played under legendary manager José Mourinho and lifted the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy in 2022.
Across his 120 appearances for the club, he found the net 37 times.
What’s Next for the England International?
Although Abraham has been capped 11 times for the England national team — scoring three goals — he hasn’t featured for the Three Lions since June 2022 in a match against Italy.
With his move to Beşiktaş, fans will be watching closely to see whether a return to the national squad could be on the horizon.
For now, though, Abraham is focused on both his career and ensuring justice is served for the break-in at his home.
His call for public assistance shows he’s determined not to let the culprits get away easily.
