Vanessa, the girlfriend, was seen sitting happily in the back seat of a car with her mother, Tahlia, and another family member when strangers in balaclavas suddenly stopped the car, held fake guns, and dragged the women out of the vehicle.

Vanessa screamed and begged, but the kidnappers continued, pushing her into another car and blindfolding her.

The family drove off frantically, leaving Vanessa to be held hostage and driven to an undisclosed location.
