Suspected car thief mobbed in Abuja

An irate crowd surrounded a suspected car thief in Abuja. The mobbing was captured on tape and disseminated on the internet.

It depicts a raucous throng encircling the supposed thief, with each individual attempting to grab him. The throng was not deterred by the presence of uniformed officials.

As the suspected robber was brought away, the outraged throng outnumbered the police and managed to get in a few slaps and punches.
