Sundowns finish the PSL season on a high note, defeating Royal AM in a five-goal thriller

Mamelodi Sundowns wrapped up the 2021-22 league season in style as they beat Royal AM 3-2 in a match played at Chartsworth Stadium on Monday.

Gaston Sirino, Thabiso Kutumela and Peter Shalulile all scored for Sundowns while Victor Letsoalo and Shaun Mogaile netted for Royal AM.

The result means Sundowns finish the campaign on 65 points from 30 games, two points less than what they accumulated last season.

On the other hand, Royal AM are in danger of missing out on finishing second on the log as they remain on 46 points with one more game to go for them.
