Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi inspects UoS Dentistry College laboratories

Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, Monday visited the scientific laboratories of the College of Dentistry at the University of Sharjah (UoS).

During his visit, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed was acquainted with the most prominent scientific laboratories at the university to serve the educational process and qualify university students with the best skills and sciences that enable them in their specialisations.

He was briefed on the latest educational devices, listening to an explanation to the latest methods for diagnosing disease and modern treatment methods.

Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed listened to the college students about the extent to which they benefited from the practical aspects in the laboratories and the modern equipment in developing their levels and in conducting scientific studies and research.

He then met a group of fifth-year students in the College of Dentistry who won the second prize in the Emirates International Dental Conference competition and the Arab Dental Exhibition – AEEDC, which is the largest annual scientific exhibition and conference in the field of dentistry in the world.

Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed praised the achievement recorded by the college students, wishing them to continue registering achievements and benefiting from all the possibilities available at the university to carry out important scientific studies and research.
