The National Television Awards always bring out the very best of British TV talent – and this year was no exception. As stars flocked to London’s O2 Arena to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the awards, Stacey Solomon was among the standout arrivals, capturing attention not just with her style but with her family by her side.
Stacey Solomon’s Red Carpet Moment
Stacey, 35, made a grand entrance in a sleek black cowl-neck gown from Club L London that showed off her glamorous figure.
Walking hand in hand with her young daughters Rose, three, and Belle, two, the TV presenter radiated pride.
The little ones lit up the carpet in matching rainbow sequin dresses, winning plenty of hearts.
Husband Joe Swash was close behind in an all-black look, and the couple posed for pictures inside, looking every bit the star pairing.
Behind the Scenes with Stacey
Earlier in the day, Stacey gave fans a sneak peek into her preparations.
On Instagram, she posted a photo of her family’s outfits neatly hung on the wardrobe door, captioned: “It’s NTA day. Just got home from work, now it’s time to get ready.
No matter what, I’m so grateful just to be voted for. The fact that we’re going as a family tonight is so special.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts – we’ll never forget it.”
Her message was filled with gratitude, reflecting how much the public vote means to her.
Stacey’s Big Night of Nominations
It’s a milestone moment for the busy mum-of-five, who landed two nominations this year.
She’s in the running for Best Presenter, facing industry giants Ant and Dec, Alison Hammond, Claudia Winkleman, and Gary Lineker.
Ant and Dec, now 49, have famously dominated this category, winning for 23 consecutive years.
But with Stacey’s popularity and fan support, the race feels more competitive than ever.
Her second nomination comes in the Factual Entertainment category for her BBC reality series with husband Joe, which gave an unfiltered look at their relationship as they sought therapy to navigate a difficult patch.
Viewers also got to see the couple’s blended family, with Stacey’s sons Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, joining Rex, five, Rose, and Belle.
The series was such a success that a second season has already been confirmed.
A Landmark Year for the NTAs
This year’s NTAs mark three decades since the awards began in 1995, when they were launched to give the public – rather than industry insiders – the final say.
Described as a celebration of Britain’s most loved stars and shows, the event continues to put viewers in control, with voting open online, by phone, and even by post.
The live broadcast on ITV2 is packed with entertainment performances and special appearances, with Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks returning to host red carpet arrivals.
Fierce Competition Across Categories
The race for awards is especially heated this year:
-
Reality TV: I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! faces tough competition from Love Island, Race Across the World, and The Traitors.
-
Drama: Netflix’s Adolescence – praised for Owen Cooper’s chilling performance as Jamie Miller – is up against Code of Silence, Ludwig, MobLand, and Rivals.
-
Serial Drama: The ever-popular Coronation Street and Emmerdale are battling against EastEnders, Casualty, and Hollyoaks.
-
Comedy: The long-awaited final episode of Gavin & Stacey makes its last appearance in the category, up against Brassic, Mrs Brown’s Boys, and Michael McIntyre’s 25th anniversary stand-up special.
Ant and Dec’s Reign – Will It Last?
All eyes are once again on Ant and Dec, who are not only up for Best Presenter but also have their jungle hit I’m A Celebrity nominated in the Best Reality TV category.
While many expect them to walk away with their 24th consecutive win, even the duo admit their streak won’t last forever.
With strong challengers like Stacey Solomon, Claudia Winkleman, and Alison Hammond in the mix, this year could finally see an upset.
The Magic of the NTAs
From glittering gowns to emotional wins, the NTAs are about more than just trophies – they’re about celebrating the shows and personalities that make TV so loved across the UK.
For Stacey Solomon, simply sharing the evening with her family is already a victory.
And whether it’s Ant and Dec keeping their crown or fresh faces taking the spotlight, the 30th anniversary of the National Television Awards is shaping up to be one to remember.
