SOMIZI RETURNS TO IDOLS SA

Lovey Dovey TV host Somizi Mhlongo says he officially started filming for season 18 of Idols SA while Unathi Nkayi and Randall Abrahams were judges on the show.
Mhlongo was suspended from the show after his estranged husband, Mohale Motaung accused him of physical abuse.
He tells True Love Magazine that he finds it strange when people ask him when he’s returning to TV because he’s never really left television.

“I find it weird when people say I’m about to be back on TV.”
“I started working on Lovey Dovey immediately after Idols SA so I’ve never left television.”

Somizi adds that he didn’t miss much about being on Idols SA but rather used the time off to introspect so he can do things differently.

“My spirituality has really gone a notch higher.”
“It has allowed me to see things differently, do things differently and respond to things differently.”

He also bagged a TV hosting gig on Moja Love’s new reality dating show, Lovey Dovey, which will premiere this Valentines month (February)
