Sokoto State University (SSU) Postgraduate Admission Form 2021/2022 Academic Session

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Sokoto State University (SSU), Sokoto, Postgraduate programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session beginning 15^th February 2022, leading to the award of Postgraduate Diplomas,

SSU Postgraduate Admission Requirements

All candidates for admission into Postgraduate Programmes must provide records of Academic Transcripts and must have met matriculation requirements.

1. Candidates for admission into PhD programmes shall have a Masters degree in relevant areas with CGPA of not less than 3.0 on a scale of 5.0.
2. Candidates for admission into Masters degree programmes shall have a minimum of Second Class Lower degree in the relevant areas. Postgraduate Diploma or Third Class degree (with at least five (5) years cognate work experience) from any recognized University may be considered.
3. Candidates for admission into Postgraduate Diploma programmes should possess the following:
   1. Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant area.
   2. Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant area.
   3. Third Class degree in the relevant area.
   4. Qualifications other than i and ii above which are acceptable to the University.

How to Apply for SSU Postgraduate Admission Form

• Visit Sokoto State University Postgraduate School Portal at: pgs.ssu.edu.ng
• Click on the Start New Application button to create an account with us, fill in the required information and click on the Register button
• Use your Username & Password to login into the portal
• After that, you will be required to upload your passport and signature
• Click on Generate Invoice Button then click on Confirmed & Generate a Customized Unified Payment Reference ID will be generated
• Click on Pay Now or pay arena web Button to make an instant payment or print your invoice and proceed to any of the banks on the invoice to make payment
• After payment login to your account, an application number will be generated
• Update your biodata, O-level and A-level records
• Upload your academic certificates
• Enter the details of 3 referees on the form provided
• Research Proposal for Ph. D Applicants only
• Click on the final Submission button Note: once you click on final submission you cannot edit your record again
• Print your form and acknowledge slip for record purposes
