Springboks captain Siya Kolisi recently took a break from his busy schedule to spend some quality time with his children at their school.

Sharing a heartwarming glimpse into the day, Siya posted an album of photos and videos on Instagram on Thursday, February 6, capturing moments of joy, laughter, and family bonding.

A Proud Dad at a School Sports Day

Siya Kolisi, known for his leadership on the rugby field, is just as dedicated to his role as a father.

His Instagram post featured snapshots from what appeared to be a school picnic and sports day with his two kids, Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7).

One of the highlights of the post was a video of Keziah winning a race, with Siya playfully crediting her victory to a lucky cap.

“The cap is the winner,” Siya joked in his caption, celebrating his daughter’s success.

Siya and Rachel Kolisi, who had been married for eight years, announced their separation in October 2024.

In a heartfelt joint statement, they emphasized that their decision came from a place of mutual respect and understanding.

“We wanted to share some important news with you.

After much reflection and open conversations, we have mutually decided to end our marriage,” they shared.

“This decision comes from a place of love, respect, and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us.

While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known.”

Despite their separation, Rachel continues to be an active part of Siya’s family, remaining close to his younger siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, whom the couple adopted when they were younger.

Siya’s school day post comes just a week after Rachel shared her own proud parenting moment.

In a weekly roundup of photos, she posted videos of her “babies” participating in their first-ever swimming gala.
