Big changes are happening at Silverton Partners, the Austin-based venture capital firm known for backing some of the fastest-growing startups.
The firm just welcomed a new leader and also recognized the growth of one of its own.
A New Face at Silverton
Kristen Dumbeck has officially joined the team as a Principal, bringing with her more than a decade of experience across venture capital and private markets.
She’s no stranger to spotting high-potential opportunities.
Most recently, she was an investor at Point72 Ventures, where she focused on sourcing and executing deals in the technology space.
Before that, she held the role of Vice President at Edison Partners, helping to grow fintech, healthcare IT, and enterprise software businesses.
Earlier in her career, she also worked at Hamilton Lane, a global private markets investment management firm based in Pennsylvania.
With this track record, Dumbeck is expected to play a major role in driving Silverton’s continued success as a leading early-stage investor.
Recognizing Homegrown Talent
It’s not just new hires making headlines.
Silverton also announced the promotion of Addie Rasche to Principal.
She joined the firm in 2023 as a Senior Associate, shortly after completing her MBA at the University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business.
In just a short time, she’s proven her value, earning a well-deserved step up in leadership.
Building on a Strong Foundation
Silverton Partners has already built an impressive reputation as the first institutional investor in companies such as AlertMedia, Billie, Ontic, SailPoint, Silicon Labs, Self Financial, Storable, WP Engine, and The Zebra.
With Dumbeck’s fresh perspective and Rasche’s continued growth, the firm seems well-positioned to keep fueling the next wave of standout startups.
