SHKS Executive Committee members meet President Ramkalavan

Yesterday, the newly appointed SHKS Executive Committee members paid a visit to President Wavel Ramkalavan.

The team, which was headed by Chairman Anandhakapalan Pillai, expressed their gratitude to SHKS and thanked the President for taking the time to meet with them at the White House.

Good working relationships between the government and the country’s many religious faiths were stressed by President Ramkalavan.

Mr. Pillay invited the President to the next Vinayagar Chaturthi celebration, which would be held on August 31, during the meeting.

Additionally, he sent them a draught of their constitution.

There are 391 current members of the Seychelles Hindu Kovil Sangam.

Their regular morning and evening distribution of food to the hungry is one of their many charitable endeavours.

Vice Chairman Dr. Sasikumar Subramanian, Mr. Krishnasamy Murugan, Mr. Muthukumar Pillai, Mr. Kandasamy, Mr. Chandran Nagarajan, Mr. Shankar Sambandam, and Mr. -n Elanchesian were other SHKS members present this afternoon.
