While most 19-year-olds might mark their birthday with a low-key dinner or a night out with friends, Shiloh Jolie went for something a little more stylish—and perhaps a little more telling.
The daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was spotted enjoying a shopping day with her close friend and dance partner Keoni Rose, sparking even more whispers about the nature of their tight bond.
Shopping, Smiles, and Subtle PDA
On Tuesday, the hit up the trendy Isabel Marant store in Los Angeles, just a day before Shiloh officially turned 19.
With Keoni’s arm wrapped sweetly around Shiloh’s waist as they crossed the street, the pair looked completely at ease and in sync with one another.
Emerging from the boutique with a large shopping bag in hand, Shiloh—known for her effortlessly grungy fashion—was all smiles.
True to her signature look, she rocked a nonconforming style that stays far from Hollywood polish.
Keoni, for her part, even coordinated her outfit to match, hinting at a closeness that goes beyond friendship.
A Friendship Rooted in Dance
What’s brought these two so close? Their shared love for dance seems to be at the heart of it.
Keoni, originally from Seattle, has a strong background in ballet and is also dipping her toes into acting, modeling, and screenwriting.
Since their first affectionate public moment last November, the two have been spotted together several times, most recently leaving a dance studio in L.A. back in March.
Though neither has confirmed a romance, their body language and chemistry say plenty—and the dance world they both move in might just be the place where their bond continues to grow.
Angelina Jolie Keeps Things Private—Especially When It Comes to Her Kids
While Shiloh’s outings have drawn attention, her mom Angelina Jolie prefers to keep family life behind the curtain.
In an interview with Good Morning America, the Oscar-winner said all her children, including Shiloh, value their privacy and currently have no desire to be in the spotlight.
“None of my children want to be in front of the camera at this time,” she shared.
Despite a few early movie cameos—including Shiloh’s appearance in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at just two years old, and a voice role in Kung Fu Panda 3—she’s mostly stayed away from Hollywood.
She even turned down a part in Maleficent when she was eight.
Jolie once joked to Elle that Shiloh preferred to be a “horned creature” rather than a princess.
A Rising Star in the Dance World
Though she’s stepped away from acting, Shiloh has embraced another form of performing: dance.
Over the last few years, she’s trained extensively, joining the Millennium Dance Complex and even taking virtual classes during the pandemic.
According to an insider, Angelina has always nurtured her kids’ interests—everything from art and coding to martial arts and dance.
When it became clear that Shiloh had a natural gift, her mom made sure to support it.
“She’s very committed to it,” the source shared. “Angelina loves seeing how happy she is when she’s dancing.”
A Dancer First, Not a “Nepo Baby”
Shiloh may have been born into one of Hollywood’s most famous families, but her dance coach Keelan Carter insists she doesn’t lean on her name to get ahead.
Speaking to DailyMail.com last year, Carter described Shiloh as humble, hardworking, and refreshingly down-to-earth.
“I didn’t even know who she was at first,” he admitted.
“She’s not interested in being treated any differently. It’s all about the work for her.”
Keelan has posted several dance videos featuring Shiloh but notes that she’s rarely tagged, out of respect for her desire to stay private.
Brad Pitt Is One Proud Dad
Even though Shiloh has mostly chosen a path outside of her parents’ fame, she still has their full support.
Brad Pitt once called his daughter’s dancing “beautiful” and admitted that it often brings a tear to his eye.
“I don’t know where she got it from,” he laughed during a 2022 interview while promoting Bullet Train. “I’m Mr. Two-Left-Feet!”
A Complicated Family Legacy
Shiloh is the oldest biological child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, born in 2006.
The couple also share twins Vivienne and Knox, born in 2008, and adopted children Zahara, Pax, and Maddox.
Brad legally adopted the older three after he and Angelina got together.
Though they were once Hollywood royalty, the couple’s split in 2016 was anything but smooth.
Their divorce followed reports of an alleged altercation on a private plane, though Brad denied the accusations, and no charges were filed after an FBI investigation.
Their lengthy divorce process was finally settled in late 2024.
