She was arrested at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport following a confrontation with her boyfriend, fellow Olympian Christian Coleman.
Security footage reportedly showed Richardson shoving Coleman against a support column and, in one angle, possibly throwing an object at him.
She was charged with fourth-degree domestic violence and spent over 18 hours in custody.
In the aftermath, Richardson addressed the incident on Instagram, offering a heartfelt apology and reflecting deeply on her actions.

Nike recently unveiled a series of photos for their SKIMS range featuring her alongside stars like Kim Kardashian, Serena Williams, golf champion Nelly Korda, gymnast Jordan Chiles, and snowboarder Chloe Kim.
Richardson shared her excitement about the campaign, saying, “Wearing NikeSKIMS makes me feel confident and unrestricted.
I feel fierce knowing I can look and feel this good while working hard.”
