The Forensic Crash Unit is requesting public assistance in relation to a serious traffic crash between a pedestrian and a vehicle in Withcott on Thursday, March 9.
Police were called to Toowoomba Connection Road shortly before 9.30 pm after a 41-year-old man was struck by a white 2001 Toyota Hilux dual cab utility traveling westbound.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to Toowoomba Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition. The driver, a 49-year-old Westbrook man, was not physically harmed in the incident.
Police are appealing to witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the crash to come forward. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and any information that can help identify the cause of the accident is crucial.
