As yet another cache of confidential information was discovered at Vice President Joe Biden’s residence in Delaware, Republican senators lashed out at him.
Senator Rick Scott of Florida stated that Biden was either a ‘hypocrite’ or ‘totally ignorant,’ joining the army of politicians who questioned why former President Donald Trump’s home was invaded by armed FBI officers when documents were discovered there, but Biden was not treated similarly.
Senator Ted Cruz of Texas summed up the situation clearly by tweeting, “Full FBI raid occurs when?”
Even a former prosecutor of Trump during the Mueller probe, Andrew Weissmann, stated that Biden was ‘digging a deeper hole’ as his government remained opaque about the investigation while new papers continued to emerge.
