With the buzz of the upcoming NFL season building and training camp just weeks away, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has hit pause — and swapped California for the glittering coast of southern France.
McVay and his wife, Veronika Khomyn, are currently soaking up some sun in St. Tropez, enjoying a luxury yacht getaway before the football grind kicks back in.
Yacht Life in the South of France
The 39-year-old coach looked every bit relaxed as he went shirtless aboard the yacht, showing off a remarkably toned physique — probably enough to impress even his own players.
By his side, Veronika kept it stylish and breezy, layering an outfit over her bikini as they basked in the Mediterranean sun.
Their European escape looks to be the perfect pre-season breather — far from the media frenzy and locker room intensity that’s about to kick off.
How They Met
McVay and Khomyn’s love story began long before the Super Bowl rings and Netflix real estate fame.
The couple reportedly met sometime between 2011 and 2016 in Washington, D.C., while Sean was working as a tight ends coach and offensive coordinator for what was then known as the Washington Commanders.
At the time, Veronika was studying international business at George Mason University in nearby Fairfax, Virginia.
She first hinted at their romance with an Instagram post in 2016, sharing a snap of the two together.
Wedding Bells and Baby Joy
Fast-forward a few years, and the pair officially tied the knot in June 2022 with a glamorous Beverly Hills wedding — just four months after Sean led the Rams to a Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
And their biggest win came in October 2023, when they welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Jordan.
Countdown to the Season
For now, it’s clear McVay is making the most of his down time.
But in just a few weeks, it’ll be back to business.
Rams training camp kicks off July 24 at LMU in Los Angeles, and expectations will be high as McVay gears up for another intense NFL season.
