During an appearance on the “Off The Vine With Kaitlyn Bristowe” podcast, Savannah Chrisley, star of the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best,” recalled the moment when her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were convicted of fraud and tax evasion.
She mentioned that the trial lasted four weeks and it took three days for the verdict to come back.
Savannah stated that she will never forget when the verdicts were read and her parents were declared guilty repeatedly. She saw the looks on their faces and witnessed their tears.
She added that they were not expecting that verdict.
Savannah believes that her parents are not guilty and they are planning to appeal their conviction this month.
She hopes that the appeal will show the truth because they were never given an evidentiary hearing by the judge.
Savannah stated that there are no hard feelings towards her parents despite being left to raise her siblings.
She believes that the government has a witch hunt for them and is trying to make things look the way they want.
Savannah recently revealed on her podcast “Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley” that she had a breakdown while trying to take care of her brother Grayson and niece Chloe.
She sat down on the floor and cried while trying to find proper clothes for Chloe to visit her parents and find her hair stuff.
She stated that she feels like she is not capable enough of doing the job her mother has done all her life.
Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of fraud charges in 2022 and were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison.
Todd has already started his 12-year sentence at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola, while Julie is serving seven years at Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp Marianna, with an additional 16 months on probation once she is released from prison.»Savannah Chrisley recalls parents’ guilty verdict and plans for appeal«
