Sadie Summers, a well-known adult entertainer, recently opened up about an incredibly painful experience on set that left her injured during the filming of one of her X-rated films.
The 38-year-old, who has built a name for herself in the adult industry, described an unexpected mishap involving a zipper during a scene that caused a significant injury to her.
The Painful Injury on Set
Summers explained that while filming, one of her male co-stars was instructed to unzip her clothing in one smooth motion. Unfortunately, the zipper caught in an extremely sensitive spot.
She recalled, “As he came around my [vagina], the zipper grabbed my labia — minora and majora — and got stuck.”
The pain she described was intense: “It burned and stung like a bee was trapped and angry. My ears got hot. I got sweaty.”
This unexpected injury shocked both the cast and the crew.
Summers revealed, “I’ve shot some hardcore scenes in my life, and I’ve never yelled ‘cut’ like this,” adding that everyone on set winced in unison, with the men instinctively grabbing their private parts in sympathy.
The production assistant even looked away, admitting later that she almost vomited from the sight.
A Calm Response from a Nursing Background
Thankfully, Summers’ background in nursing helped her keep calm during the painful incident. Drawing from her nursing experience, she immediately took action. “My nurse instincts kicked in,” she said.
She requested a mirror and some ice, and after a quick blood check, she discovered her skin was intact, but the zipper was still stuck. “I was definitely zipped up in there,” Summers recalled.
After some effort, the zipper finally popped free, and despite the pain, she was able to finish the scene with no blood or bruising.

Working with senior citizens, Summers saw how many people wished they had lived their lives differently. “Almost 99 percent of people wish they had done life differently,” she said.
For Summers, this realization led her to embrace the adult entertainment industry once again.
“I love sex work. I’m not ashamed of it,” she stated.
“So, let’s try something new that will give me more free time with my family.”
