Korea reports more than 200,000 new COVID-19 cases

SEOUL, 2nd March, 2022 – South Korea reported 241,219 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, raising the total to 3,492,686, Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency said on Wednesday.

According to Yonhap news agency, 96 new deaths were confirmed due to the infection, leaving the death toll at 8,266.
