Romeo Beckham celebrates his 23rd birthday with David Victoria Cruz and Harper at exclusive Japanese restaurant Aki in central London

Turning 23 is a big milestone, and Romeo Beckham’s family made sure he felt the love with an intimate but stylish night out in London.

The Beckham clan gathered at the ultra-exclusive Japanese restaurant Aki, a spot so elite it won’t even officially open until September 23.

David, 50, and Victoria, 51, led the celebrations alongside Romeo’s younger siblings Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, as well as Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, who turned heads in a striking black mini dress that drew comparisons to Victoria’s iconic Posh Spice look.

The Absence Everyone Noticed

But there was one seat left empty. Romeo’s eldest brother, Brooklyn, 26, was not there.

His absence, though not unexpected, added a bittersweet note to the evening.

Family insiders admitted that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, rarely attend Beckham events anymore, something David and Victoria have sadly come to accept.

“It’s just how things are now,” said one source close to the family.

“Of course they’d love to have him back, but they know it’s not possible at the moment.”

A Party to Remember

Despite the missing family member, Romeo’s night was filled with joy.

Guests enjoyed rounds of sushi, cocktails, champagne, and wine before singing happy birthday to him.

The party went on into the early hours, with friends and family dancing, laughing, and letting their hair down.

A source close to Romeo described it as “a lovely, low-key night” after what has been a challenging year for the Beckham family.

The Fashion Choices

As expected, fashion played a starring role. Victoria stunned in a sheer, floor-length gown, effortlessly reaffirming her status as the family’s style leader.

Her daughter Harper followed in her footsteps with a long black dress, though she shyly kept away from the cameras outside.

Romeo, fresh from his split with girlfriend Kim Turnbull in June, made a bold statement in a black leather bandana and matching jacket.

David kept things classic in a black suit and crisp white t-shirt, while Jackie wowed in her chic black mini dress with slicked-back hair and oversized sunglasses. Cruz, however, stood out for a different reason, arriving in a bright blue-and-cream shirt and jeans.

Brooklyn’s Silence on Social Media

The distance between Brooklyn and the rest of the family was made even clearer earlier in the week.

While David, Victoria, and Harper all posted heartfelt Instagram tributes to Romeo on his birthday, Brooklyn stayed silent.

David shared an adorable childhood picture of his middle son, calling him “kind, humble, polite, hardworking, and the most special person to everyone.”

Victoria added her own heartfelt message alongside a holiday snap, writing: “You are our everything, we love you so much.

Your love and kindness fills our hearts every day.”

Brooklyn’s lack of acknowledgment was seen by many as another sign of the rift that has left the Beckham family navigating birthdays and milestones without him.
