The Big One Roller Coaster in Blackpool Shuts Down Twice in Two Weeks
Blackpool’s popular roller coaster, The Big One, has halted operations and evacuated passengers for the second time in two weeks.
Previously known as the Pepsi Max Big One, the £12 million ride is the largest roller coaster in the UK but has recently been gaining notoriety for its instability.
The Ride Halts Due to Sudden Changes in Weather
The roller coaster first stopped on April 11 due to Storm Noa, which brought winds of up to 90mph across the country.
