Their conversation quickly turned to working together, with Ross suggesting they team up with some of South Africa’s top producers, such as GT Beats and Tweezy.
He emphasized the importance of getting into the studio together to work on new music while exploring the city for inspiration.

Back in 2018, he made headlines when he collaborated with rapper Kwesta.
The two performed their hit song “Kuhambani” in Johannesburg, and Ross even filmed a music video with Kwesta in Soweto.
Their music video shoot was a lighthearted affair, with Kwesta’s mom famously interrupting the shoot to send them on an errand to buy bread.
They also filmed in Katlehong, Kwesta’s hometown, adding a personal touch to the experience.
