Retired NFL Cornerback Adam Pacman Jones Reveals How He Outsmarted Drug Tests During His Career in Candid Interview

In a candid conversation with NFL legend Deion Sanders, retired cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones revealed a surprising secret from his 12-year NFL career.

The 41-year-old admitted that he never once used his own urine in any of the league’s drug tests.

Instead, Jones came clean about the clever techniques he used to beat the system, something he now feels comfortable sharing since his retirement.

How Pacman Beat The System Without Using His Own Urine

Speaking on Tubi’s We Got Time, Jones confidently shared how he outsmarted the NFL’s drug testing program.

“I cheated the program,” he said, explaining his method of passing urine tests without ever using his own sample.

“I can say it now because I don’t play anymore,” he added with a sense of humor.

“But like, I’ve never used my [urine] for a [urine] test. Not one time.” His admission was a shock to many, especially considering the league’s strict policies on drug testing.

Deion Sanders Weighs In on Modern Testing Methods

While Jones remained confident about his past methods, Sanders, a Hall of Famer known for his devout faith and clean living, pointed out that things have changed.

According to Sanders, the current drug testing procedures are much stricter.

“The reason it can’t happen now is because they go in there with you,” Sanders explained, noting that administrators are now much more involved in the process, even watching players during tests.

However, Jones still disagreed, maintaining that the system could still be beaten if you know what you’re doing.

Jones Defends THC and Critiques NFL’s Painkiller Use

Jones, who has long been an advocate for marijuana use, took the opportunity to defend the use of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana.

He questioned the NFL’s stance on the drug, particularly since the league no longer tests for it.

“They’re giving guys opiates, pain pills, muscle relaxers; you’re telling me that a guy that’s smoking THC that it’s helping him perform more, or are you telling me is it helping his body?” he asked Sanders, highlighting the contrast between the league’s stance on THC and the painkillers players are often prescribed.

A Surprising Political Stance: Jones Supports Trump

In a surprising twist, Jones also spoke about his political views.

The former NFL cornerback shared his support for President Donald Trump, expressing agreement with 95.9 percent of Trump’s policies.

When asked about his reasons for supporting Trump, Jones quickly responded, “everything.”

However, he clarified that he did not agree with Trump’s stance on women’s rights, adding that he believes the issue will be addressed in the future.

The Turbulent Career of Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones

Jones’ career was marked by both success and controversy.

Known for his outstanding talent on the field, particularly with the Cincinnati Bengals, Jones earned Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors.

However, his time in the NFL was also plagued by numerous legal issues, including arrests for firearms charges, assault, and marijuana possession.

One of the most notorious incidents occurred when he was accused of slamming an exotic dancer’s head onto a stage, shortly before a gunman opened fire outside the Las Vegas club.

Despite these controversies, Jones managed to avoid lengthy prison sentences and remained a productive player until his retirement in 2018.

Though his career was filled with highs and lows, Jones’ legacy as a talented cornerback remains intact.
