Resign If You Are Interested In Governorship – Fayemi Tells State Council

Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi has asked members of the State council nursing governorship ambition to resign instead of allowing the 2022 governorship struggle to truncate the vision of his government through their divided attention.

This is call came as the previous Lagos State Governor and Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) and former Borno State governor, Kashim Shettima, appealed to Nigerian leaders to create stewardships within the minds of the citizens for them to earn respect and enduring legacies after tenure.

They spoke in Ado-Ekiti, yesterday, during the 2020 retreat organised by governor Fayemi, with the theme: “Finishing well and sustaining progressive leadership in Ekiti State.”
