Reese Witherspoon couldn’t let her daughter’s big day pass without sharing a heartfelt tribute.
On Wednesday, the actress took to Instagram to wish her firstborn, Ava Phillippe, a happy 26th birthday.
Reese, who shares Ava with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, posted a radiant photo alongside her daughter and added a touching note.
“Happy 26th my sweet girl @avaphillippe! You have changed my life in all the best ways.
I love you,” Reese wrote. Ava sweetly replied in the comments, “Love u mama,” complete with a heart and arrow emoji.
Celebrity Friends Join the Celebration
It wasn’t just Reese showering Ava with love. Hollywood friends also chimed in with birthday wishes.
Kate Hudson left a nostalgic message about turning 26, while Julianne Moore and Octavia Spencer both shared simple but warm greetings.
Clearly, Ava has grown up surrounded by her mom’s supportive circle.
Reese’s Family Life Over the Years
Ava is the eldest of Reese’s three children. Reese also shares a son, Deacon, 21, with Ryan Phillippe.
After their 2008 divorce, Reese remarried talent agent Jim Toth in 2011, and together they welcomed son Tennessee, who turns 13 later this month.
However, Reese and Jim parted ways in 2023, with the actress later moving on with German financier Oliver Haarmann.
Balancing Work and Family
The birthday shoutout came just after Reese celebrated another milestone: the premiere of season four of her AppleTV+ hit The Morning Show.
The actress dazzled in a sleek black David Koma gown paired with Rahaminov jewelry as she attended the New York City event with co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Jon Hamm.
Reese is clearly juggling her professional triumphs while still making time for family moments.
Ava’s Own Rising Career
Like her famous mom, Ava has stepped into the spotlight.
After graduating from UC Berkeley in 2022, where she studied social welfare, Ava pursued modeling and later transitioned into acting.
Earlier this year, she made her television debut in Doctor Odyssey, playing the role of Veronica.
In July, she shared even bigger news—her first lead role in an upcoming romantic comedy.
Ava has often said her parents encouraged her to forge her own path, something she’s grateful for.
“That is such a privilege to have parents that support you in that way and want you to be who you truly are meant to be,” she said in an earlier interview.
