Rebecca Tobin celebrates motherhood and career achievements at Philips Lumea IPL launch event in the United States

Rebecca Tobin first captured hearts as Kitty Wilde on the hit Fox series Glee, starring alongside Lea Michele and the late Cory Monteith.

The Georgia native joined the show in 2012 during its fourth season premiere, The New Rachel, quickly becoming a fan favorite and recurring presence throughout the season.

Her breakout role not only brought her fame but also landed her appearances in men’s magazines like Maxim, as well as guest spots on shows like NCIS: Los Angeles and Drop Dead Diva.

Stepping Out in Style

Last week, Tobin made waves with a fresh set of photos at the Philips Lumea IPL launch event, sharing the spotlight with her LadyGang co-hosts Jac Vanek and Keltie Knight.

She opted for a pale pink knitted dress with button details and a cute collar, her hair elegantly pulled back.

The event celebrated the innovative Philips Lumea IPL hair removal device, which uses Intense Pulsed Light technology and is now available exclusively on Amazon in the U.S.

Tobin took to Instagram to express her excitement:
“We’re booked, busy, and honestly allergic to leaving the house. #PhilipsPartner That’s why we’re losing it over the Philips Lumea IPL—aka the first time this genius device has EVER been available in the USA! Smooth legs, zero appointments, no small talk.

Just us, our couch, and a future of hair-free hotness.”

A Dynamic Career Beyond Glee

A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, Tobin’s career continued to flourish after Glee.

She appeared as Empress Katia on Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva, played Kimmee Kittson on ABC Family’s Mystery Girls, and guest-starred as computer coder Blaze Talcott on NCIS: Los Angeles.

In December 2015, she co-launched the female-focused podcast The LadyGang alongside Knight and Vanek.

By October 2018, LadyGang had expanded into a talk show on the E! network, solidifying Tobin’s place in lifestyle and entertainment media.

Becoming a Mother

Tobin and her husband Zach Martin welcomed their first child, a son, via surrogate in 2022.

She introduced fans to Rutherford “Ford” Thomas Martin with a heartfelt Instagram post:
“Welcome to the world, Ford. It took him five years to get here, but it’s been worth every minute.

Thank you to our amazing surrogate for bringing him here safely surrounded by so much love.”

Fans and former Glee co-stars flooded the comments with congratulations.

Lea Michele wrote, “Love you, Ford!” while Kevin McHale added, “Love you all soooo much, congratulations.”

Sharing Her Fertility Journey

Tobin has been candid about her fertility struggles. In 2021, she revealed on LadyGang that she and her husband had seen a fertility specialist and frozen embryos after two miscarriages.

She shared the emotional weight of the journey, reflecting on the false sense of security she felt in her early 30s:
“I didn’t realize the weight that would be lifted the moment that I found out that I didn’t have to hurry up and keep trying and hopefully get something healthy.”

She also addressed the public’s curiosity in 2020, asking fans to respect her privacy:
“Please don’t text me. Stop asking women about their fertility, and let them volunteer the information.

The speculation and questions just adds more stress and pressure to a family.”

A Star-Studded Wedding

Rebecca Tobin and Zach Martin tied the knot in 2016 at the scenic Amangani Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Their wedding was attended by a mix of family, friends, and Glee alumni, including Michele, Jane Lynch, Kevin McHale, and Jenna Ushkowitz, along with some of the show’s writers and production team.

The ceremony marked another milestone in Tobin’s remarkable journey from TV star to podcast host and devoted mother.
