After being charged with the domestic violence homicide of a lady who was in her 70s and who was found dead in Rockhampton, a man from Queensland is scheduled to appear in court.
The male, who is 35 years old, was charged after the corpse of the lady was discovered at a residence on West Street in Allenstown at around 3:50 p.m. on Sunday.
The accused killer and the victim were known to one other, but the police have not disclosed how she was killed.
On Monday, the defendant is scheduled to appear before the Rockhampton Magistrates Court.
