On Wednesday, Queen Letizia of Spain turned heads in an elegant navy skirt suit as she and her husband, King Felipe, welcomed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to Madrid.
The royal couple hosted the President at the lavish Zarzuela Palace, their residence located just outside the Spanish capital.
It was a formal occasion, and Letizia’s outfit was a perfect balance of sophistication and grace.
Queen Letizia’s Chic Ensemble
At 52 years old, Letizia continues to impress with her impeccable fashion choices.
For the event, she wore a fitted, navy tweed jacket with a subtle peplum hem, paired with a matching midi pencil skirt that perfectly complemented her figure.
The single-breasted jacket featured a beautiful brooch from the royal collection, passed down from monarch to monarch, and for this special occasion, Letizia selected a brooch with a pale grey pearl surrounded by sparkling diamonds.
Her elegant look was completed with dark blue patent leather kitten heels, diamond stud earrings, and a classic shoulder-length blow-dry hairstyle.
Her makeup was tastefully done, with smoky eyes and nude lipstick, adding to her overall glamour.
King Felipe’s Smart Attire
Standing beside his wife, King Felipe, 57, looked equally sharp in a black suit with a white shirt and a striking crimson tie.
The Spanish royal couple smiled and posed for photos with President el-Sisi, who appeared genuinely pleased to be in Madrid for this diplomatic meeting.
A Day Earlier at the Royal Collections Gallery

The queen made another stylish appearance in a marl grey dress with a distressed hem and ballet wrap design.
The dress, created by Spanish designer Cortana, was accentuated with a black waist belt featuring a chunky buckle.
She paired the dress with a black handbag and textured boots, both in the same shade. Let
izia’s hair was once again perfectly styled in a blow-dry, and her makeup was simple yet elegant, featuring mascara and a nude lip gloss.
The Royals at the Royal Collections Gallery
King Felipe was also present at the meeting, looking dapper in a bright navy suit and shiny black brogues.
The couple posed gracefully for photographs at the gallery, which opened in 2023 and is considered one of Spain’s most important museum projects in recent years.
Located next to the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Royal Collections Gallery showcases the rich heritage of the Spanish monarchy.
Letizia and Felipe serve as trustees for the museum, providing guidance and supporting its mission to present the Royal Collections and other historical treasures from the Royal Sites.
The royal couple’s involvement in the museum highlights their commitment to preserving and promoting Spain’s cultural heritage while advising the Board of Directors of National Heritage on its goals and objectives.
